Inside your home is a series of drains that removed used water from your sinks and tubs, but when drains become clogged it can get frustrating and messy. You may have tried to clean it on your own, and when that doesn’t work, it’s time to call in the experts at John’s Plumbing & Pumps. Our plumbers have years of experience with drain cleaning in Olympia when even the best do-it-yourself methods fail to do the job.
Need Drain Cleaning? Call our plumbers!
Over time every drain becomes clogged with grease, hair, soap scum, food, and more, and it can slow down the flow of water. Instead of dealing with slow-draining water in your shower, sinks, and tubs, call John’s Plumbing for the best drain cleaning in Olympia. Sometimes it can be tempting to try and fix it on your own, using a plunger, or pouring volumes of dangerous chemicals into the drain, but often these methods fail to unclog the drain for the long-term. Even if they manage to fix the clog for a short time, it often returns. In some cases you may even damage the drain trying to fix it, which can cost a lot more over time than hiring a plumber to unclog the drain in the first place. Contact Us Today »

Preventative Maintenance: The benefits of Video Pipe inspection
One of the most valuable tools in the plumbing industry today is the video camera. While it’s certainly not the same camera you would use to film your family reunion, it does work along the same principle.
- Video camera inspection allows our technicians to see inside the plumbing lines and sewer pipes.
- It is much easier and far more accurate to determine the cause of your current plumbing and sewer problems.
- The footage can tell if there are clogs or buildups in your system and lets us develop a strategy for removal.
How does the video camera work?
A flexible rod is equipped with a high-resolution video camera on the end. This rod is fed through the pipe or sewer line. It transmits the high-quality video back to the video camera operator. These images can even be saved for viewing later. There are also radio transmitters on the pipe camera, which record the depth of the pipe or line to the surface.
